You may remember, in May of this year, Tommy and Sacha visited Legacy Youth Zone, Croydon, through an introduction from our clients, WPS
TWD made a financial donation to support the young people who attend the centre, to ensure they received a hot meal each day over the Spring half term, as part of our social value programme. We were immediately blown away by the centre and the nurturing arm it places around the young people within the community. It offers a place of fun, safety and education and the volunteers and staff work tirelessly to provide opportunities to everyone that walks through their doors.
We couldn’t just leave. We wanted more! And so we reached out as soon as we arrived back in the office, to enquire about opportunities for us to become more involved and build a relationship to last.
Today, we were welcomed, as always, with a smile, a hug and cup of tea to receive a commemorative plaque which shows our commitment for the next three years, as the first Silver Patron for Legacy Youth Centre.
Beyond the photos you see here, was conversation and partnerships cemented, as we begin our 3-year plan to do what we always do, with gusto….be more than just drainage.
Please follow our journey as we proudly shout from the rooftops that we have our first patronage, and we couldn’t think of a better fit.
