On Thursday 1st October, we proudly sponsored and exhibited at the Kent Construction EXPO 2026. Following huge success in 2025, we made the decision to take a larger stand for 2026, which proved vital as we were able to welcome so many more people across the day, building new relationships and enhancing existing.

The day began bright and early with the TWD sponsored Networking Breakfast, hosted by Cheryl Causebrook and Ella Sandall from the Kent Construction Focus Group (KCFG). Both women then chaired the discussion panel around building the workforce of the future. The panel consisted of Steve Samson, Head of Economy for Kent County Council; Mark Andrews, Deputy Executive Principal for North Kent College and SECTEC and Lucy Druesne, Deputy CEO of the Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce, who all provided invaluable insight into the difficulties and practical solutions that the construction industry face when recruiting the talent of the future.

The exhibition began promptly at 9:30 and it was fantastic to see such a hive of activity, with queues already formed.

Luxe Cakes and Artisan Bakes Jo is a master of her craft and provided the most fantastic bespoke cupcakes – red velvet, cappuccino and carrot cake were all on offer, along with vegan and gluten-free options so we really did have something for everyone!

Big Fun Hire – Our branded interactive reaction ring game was a hotspot, with everyone who passed desperate to battle to end up champion (more on that over on our socials!)

Woodgate Associates – Our new TWD branded tablecloth and tote bags filled with pocket pads, provided the finishing touches to ensure we stayed front and centre of everyone’s minds.
